Ody is a craftsman shaping each surfboard by hand from scratch and has worked for world class manufacturers of surf boards. He brings his skills to the surf capitol in Mexico also known as the Mexican pipeline and is what the wave in Puerto Escondido on Oaxacas Pacific ocean coast is called. You'll find Ody just blocks away from Zicatela & La Punta either shaping boards or down at the beach catching waves.

If you plan to visit as part of an extended journey through Mexico, give Ody a few weeks notice and $100 deposit. He'll have your custom board waiting for you for when you arrive in Puerto Escondido and will buy it back when you leave. (if you can part with your beautiful custom board!) Rentals are also available.

Not only does Ody make great custom boards but he is also an excellent surf instructor with years of experience. He can teach from the beginner or intermediate level to the experienced surfer who just wants to brush up or learn some new moves. Lately, however, he's been too busy making surfboards.
